We are super excited to share with you our latest wedding photography Chicago from Kathy and Ned's wedding at Fountain Blue Banquets!

It all began when Ned got an interview at Lutheran General Hospital where Kathy was working. Him and Kathy had an instant connection. They had only begun to talk which resulted to their co-workers spreading rumors. They stopped talking for 2 1/2 months, which was not that hard for them since they worked two opposite shifts. Then one fine day Ned came in on Kathy's shift and they talked for over 2 hours. Kathy mentioned to Ned that she needed a new pair of boots. Luckily Ned had connections and offered to be Kathy's shopping buddy :) She told him to let her know before he goes and he said, “Well how am I suppose to do that…I don’t have your number?” She laughed thinking to herself that, that was a slick way to ask for her number. After boot shopping just as friends, Ned asked Kathy out to dinner a few days later. They both admit that even though Kathy over slept and was late for her date with Ned that it was one of the best dates and ever since then they have been inseparable!

Just these last couple of weeks Kathy and Ned got married! They are a truly in love couple and it was a pleasure to photograph their special day. Kathy was getting ready at her home with her bridal party and her mom. They were having such a great time and even as the time was getting closer to the ceremony Kathy was not nervous one bit! While she was getting ready she received surprise beautiful red roses from Ned with a signed card that had a super long message inside and Kathy had a lot of different (good) facial expressions while reading the love note! Two super cool things we noticed – 1. She had a jar that was called "I learned from experience that…" (which was a jar filled with one piece of advice from the whole bridal party) and 2. Kathy had her dress and the bridesmaids dress's hanging on really cool custom made hangers that had their names on it (see below). Oh almost forgot – in Kathy and Ned's kitchen they have an awesome policeman cookie jar we named it Kathy (Also in pictures below)!

After their beautiful ceremony we took group pictures at the Dominican University Campus in River Forest. It's a really breath taking campus with a classical english feel to it. Kathy and Ned had some really fun props. They had a custom painted "just married" parsol and Mr. & Mrs. wooden wedding signs and we loved working with these unique props!

Once we arrived at the Fountain Blue Banquets we feel in love with their amazing tent! They had awesome custom lighting which really livened up and gave character to the tent. The custom lighting, decor and DJ was all done by MDM Entertainments which is a very fun, professional and personable company to work with. Another amazing feature was a yummy candy bar with different signs attached on the jars of where they are going on their honeymoon, their wedding date, etc. We simply love tent weddings!

Kathy and Ned's reception was fun just as expected :) It included touchy and yet funny speeches from their bridal party; and a dog leash with Ned's name tag was given to Ned durring one of these heart filled speeches. After dinner and their beautiful first dance, the dance floor filled up thanks to Kathy's cheerful maid of honor (Lauren) who seemed to inspire a lot of guests out on the dance floor. There were some serious dance moves which included intense juking and even push-ups. What we are trying to get at is that Kathy and Ned's wedding was immensely fun, cheerful and filled with a lot of love. We love to see other couple's in love. Congratulations to Kathy and Ned, a bright, fun and in love couple!
