Shreya's and Monil's South Asian Indian Wedding at JW Marriott.

Being part of Shreya's and Monil's wedding felt like we were in a high production movie. Really! All of the beautiful colors, the attire, elegant orchids everywhere and the jaw dropping decor was so mesmorizing. Yanni Design Studio did an incredible job transforming the room.

Shreya's and Monil's wedding day began really early in the morning before the sun had even risen. Before the ceremony they did not see each other. Before they could see each other and get married, Shreya and Monil had to celebrate pre wedding customs. Shreya celebrated the Gauri Puja with close family. While Monil had a baraat which was so big that it blocked off Lasalle St. Both celebrations were beautiful.

After their ceremony, Shreya and Monil went up to Monil's parents room for the Ghar Pravesh puja.The Ghar Pravesh puja is a house warming ceremony.

Durring the reception, Shreya's and Monil's friends surprised them and put on a mini show. It included dancing and skits from when Shreya and Monil first met and their years together leading up to marriage. After dinner there was not one chair taken because everyone was celebrating on the dance floor.
