We had a pleasure to have a fun Indiana engagement photography session in LaPorte, IN with Natalie & Jae. I think the best way to summarize it will be to tell you how their first dates looked like:)
Jae’s impressions of Natalie on their first date:
-He picks her up fairly early…She was all ready to go
-He takes her to a petting zoo…She’s not squeamish of animals
-He takes her on a long drive in his Jeep…She’s not afraid of Jeeps or ‘Jeep people’
-He takes her to paint some pottery…She enjoys it and enjoys the rock music playing in the background
They finish the night at a local family bar with live music and open up to each other about their beliefs and faith. Seems like they had a perfect first date and they had accomplished a lot of activities.
Natalie’s impressions of Jae on their first date:
-She’s ready to take on any challenge that goes her way…He takes her on a 12 hour date
-Petting zoo…Awkward with little kids pushing and running around everywhere over feeding the animals
-Pottery painting…’the shop was creepily empty’
-Local bar…More relaxed and enjoyable until the conversation got heated up
If it weren’t for their open mindedness to meet up and give each other another chance, as friends Natalie would have never witnessed the moment when she got swept off of her feet. Jae was waiting for Natalie to finish washing up the dishes before they went out. While Natalie was washing the dishes Jae comes over with a rag and starts cleaning a dirty spot on the counter top. Natalie knew that was the man of her dreams and was instantly in love. She appreciates a man who knows how to clean!
We got to witness their love and their passion when we got together for their Indiana engagement photography session at Natalie’s home town – LaPorte, IN. They are an incredible couple with a great sense of humor and a strong dedication to their faith.
