Gaslamp Quarter Engagement Photos
In exactly 1 year from yesterday, Carrie and Josh will be tying the knot at Darlington House in La Jolla! What better way to celebrate exactly 1 year before you get married than with an engagement session. We got to spend the evening getting to know and photographing Carrie and Josh. This couple is beaming with love and positive vibes. Their laughs are so contagious, Yaneck and I definitely got a great ab work out with these two. Also during Carrie's and Josh's engagement session, new nicknames were born like "chocolate-chocolate stud muffin."
The reason behind choosing spots like Rare Form, Fairweather and The Blind Burro was because we revisited the places Carrie and Josh first met. Believe it or not, they met on New Years Eve and we love everything about their story. Having an engagement session with locations close to the heart makes the photos that much more meaningful. We love that Carrie made the time to plan both her and Josh's outfit and made an appointment to get her hair and makeup done. She was a blonde bombshell last night!
We wanted an epic sunset photo at the rooftop of The Nolen, but they were filing a documentary and the place was packed. Instead, we rushed over to our studio rooftop which offers unique views and 0 people. Capturing and enjoying the sunset with Carrie and Josh was a treat. We hope the photos speak for themselves and you can see the incredible personalities stud muffin and Carrie have.
These Gaslamp Quarter engagement photos were taken by Yaneck and Sasha Wasio.
