Congratulations to the newly weds – Stephanie and Dominick! Few months ago we had the honor of photographing their engagement session at Salvage One. We got to be a part of their gorgeous Cuneo wedding. The day started with Stephanie and her bridal party all getting ready at the home Stephanie grew up in in Palatine. We think it was so special that she chose to start her wedding day there. Not to mention her room is still completely pink with cheer leading certificates all over her room :) While Stephanie was getting her hair done, a special delivery arrived – a dozen red roses from Dominick with a card saying "I can't wait to marry you! Love Dominick".
Stephanie and Dominick had their first look at Cuneo Museum and it happened right by a beautiful garden with a fountain. Dominick had his back turned as Stephanie took slow playful steps toward Dominick. He was super anxious to see his beautiful bride/'Italian princess'. She walked up and tapped him on his shoulder. He turned towards her and swooped her into his arms and gave her a gentle kiss. Their wedding ceremony was outdoors in the beautiful gardens just outside the mansion. The weather was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous. After their ceremony when walking back up the aisle both Stephanie and Dominick had the biggest smiles on their faces as their friends were congratulating them.
Their wedding reception was held inside in a beautiful ballroom with a nice balcony outdoor over looking the garden where their first look took place. It got really emotional durring the speeches. It started with a splash of humor with Stephanie's father and ended with an emotional touch from Jon (Dominick's brother). Durring these speeches we learned some of Stephanie and Dominick's deepest…darkest…secrets: (here is one secret revealed) One of the reasons they are truly meant for each other is because Dominick has some Italian blood and Stephanie always dreamed to be Italian and have an Italian man like Fabio. Her name in college was Italian Princess! She got 100 times luckier since Dominick is a younger and better version of Fabio:) It was truly nice to see how great their families got along with each other. Their night ended with almost every single guest on the dance floor dancing their booties off! It was filled with high energy and a lot of love :) Stephanie and Dominick are an amazing couple and we are so happy they found each other. We are so happy to have an opportunity to tell the story of their special day through our photos!
One side note we would like to mention is the videoagraphers at their wedding were truly incredible – One Fine Day Productions. They have such a nice and easy to work with team! I think creatively we complement each other as well. At each wedding we come up with new ideas for interesting portrait and photo+video combination. Definitely check out their work, we have done a few weddings with them and are amazed with each video they produced.
We really hope you like the photos below. If you do, it would be awesome for you leave a comment. We love them all!
