It seems like it was just January and Chrissy and Andrew had their engagement photos taken and now we are so excited to share their perfect Chicago spring wedding. Chrissy and Andrew had a traditional wedding by having their first look when walking down the aisle at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. To be honest, it got emotional way before the ceremony. When Chrissy's father saw his daughter for the first time all dressed up and ready to get married, his facial expression said it all. Then throughout the day we were blessed to capture so many special moments from Andrew's reaction when he first saw Chrissy walking down the aisle to Chrissy's moments before Chrissy was given to Andrew at the church and many more. Also, we have to mention that besides Chrissy being a registered nurse, she has an amazing talent in singing. She was on Season 10 American Idol and Season 1 of Xfactor USA. With this being said, she had a special surprise for Andrew for their first dance. Check it out in the pictures below and read about her reason behind the song.
"We've only been married for a little over a week, but you can feel the difference. There is a stronger bond and different level of commitment. I am more in love with him now. And its super exciting to say, I'm Mrs. Putnam!"
For their first dance Chrissy surprised Andrew by singing him a song by Alicia Keys called No One.
"I chose the song No One by Alicia Keys because the words spoke to me (which is how I usually choose my song choices).Andrew and I really love the acoustic guitar, so I found someone to produce the track the way I envisioned we would both like to hear it. I asked the producer to also incorporate a strings section to give it a romantic feel. My dad also had an influence in the track and added that extra flare with the bass and shakers. I was able to keep it a secret from Andrew for over a year. I'd practice in the car and at the house when he was at work. I chose this song because no one or anything can get in the way of how I feel about Andrew. My favorite part of the song is the start of the second verse "when the rain is pouring down…you will always be around, this I know for certain." We've been through a lot in the last 4 years and I don't think either one of us has questioned our loyalty to each other. We both know that we have each other through the good times and the bad."
"Words of advice for a future bride and groom: pick the right team to work with on your wedding day. We absolutely loved working with Magda and Marcin. They made us feel like movie stars and I think that shines through the pictures. Their attention to detail is beyond words. We love WASIO!"
