Chicago Botanic Garden stylized session for the classy bride.
As Coco Chanel once said, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” What better time to be as classy and fabulous as possible than on your wedding. Being a bride, it is sometimes hard to figure out the perfect classy bride look especially with trends changing in the snap of a finger.
Our inspiration for what a classy bride looks like came from the Baroque Era. The word “Baroque” comes from a Portuguese phrase “pérola barroca” and when translated literally means “irregular pearl”. This era focused heavily in rich details, pearls, lace and details such as hand fans with intricate detail.
Our model Joanna was as perfect for our classy bride session as finding a priceless wild pearl in an oyster. The English Garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden fit into exactly what we had envisioned. Joanna looked like a fairy in the garden and bystanders couldn’t resist stopping and taking a photo or two. The dress from Laurel Bridal had the right fit and detailing on it and is flattering for all body types. The detail in the lace and the sleeves is timeless and classy.
