This is a very special post because I (Sasha) got to be one of Paula's bridesmaids. So major disclaimer, this post is 100% from my perspective! Firstly, It was so incredible to watch Marcin work and have the experience. I honestly felt like Marcin was a ninja and I forgot he was there most of the time. That is amazing! At the same time, when group photographs needed to be arranged, Marcin took charge and guided everyone with his expertise and vision.
To begin with, I met Paula via social media over two years ago. She was the beautiful girlfriend of Josh (we went to high school together). I really wanted to get to know Paula and it took a lot of courage to send her a Facebook message. Our meeting was at a cute Mexican restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights. We had an instant connection.
Ok, enough! This post is about the two most important people, Paula and Josh. It's incredible to see a couple be together for as long as they have been and still have the lively spark in their relationship. Paula and Josh are couple goals! They know how to work and play hard.
Secondly, Paula and Josh put so much hard work and planning to put all of the details together. There's no doubt that their hardwork paid off and it was a dream wedding. In the morning, Paula got ready in the home she grew up in which is like a dream Martha Stewart home. Her and Josh had their first look in the family room of the home.
When Paula walked up to Josh and touched him on the shoulder to turn around and see his bride for the first time was a priceless experience. The genuine reaction they had for one another is like out of a romance fairytale. Another striking memory is when Paula was walking down the aisle with her father. She had tears in her eyes and Josh had the reaction as if he was seeing her for the first time. Moments before her father gave her away to Josh, Paula locked eyes with her mom and it was beautiful.
Usually, after the ceremony is when everyone takes a breath and is relaxed. Arriving at Arrowhead Golf Club, we went for photographs around the area. I love that Marcin first took the photos with the wedding party and then let us go so he can focus on the bride and groom.
Thirdly, the decor for the reception was perfect. Not one single detail was missed and as the sunset in the background of the first dance, the room was illuminated perfectly with all of the lights. Not once was the dance floor empty and most people celebrated with the newlyweds till the last song.
Above all, I can speak on behalf of the WASIO team and say that we are truly happy for Paula and Josh to be happily married and growing their family. We got to be there and document them from their proposal, to their engagement and now their wedding. We are excited and feel part of their family and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Please leave a comment below to congratulate Paula and Josh on tying the knot!
